Caron Rhodes

I’m Caron Rhodes, a Manchester-based pianist with over 40 years of experience playing the piano and 15 years teaching pupils of all ages and abilities. My lessons cover piano, music theory, aural training, and music appreciation, whether you’re a complete beginner or preparing for ABRSM exams. I teach both children from age five and adults, believing it’s never too late to learn an instrument and enjoy its many benefits. My approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student’s goals—whether they want to play for fun or work towards grades 1-8 exams. Lessons take place in my relaxed home studio in Prestwich or online via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, with fees of £15 for 30 minutes or £28 for an hour. I’m passionate about making music accessible and enjoyable, helping students discover the joy of playing while receiving thorough, structured instruction. Based near Heaton Park tram station, I’m easily reachable by tram or bus from Manchester and Bury centres. Whether you’re a child taking your first steps or an adult rediscovering a lifelong passion, I’d love to help you on your musical journey.
