I am a qualified and experienced secondary maths teacher with a passion for helping students of all ages build confidence and achieve their potential. I work with both school-aged students and adults, supporting a wide range of needs from those who feel anxious about maths to those aiming for specific qualifications or personal goals. My tutoring is structured, purposeful, and designed to create real progress. Rather than simply working through questions, I develop a personalised plan for each student, identifying strengths and areas for development. Each session is carefully planned with clear goals, while still allowing flexibility to respond to questions and address misconceptions as they arise. I aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as building confidence is just as important as improving skills. I also offer tutoring for home educated students, providing flexible support that can complement their individual learning journey. I offer a range of online tutoring options, including one-off sessions, ongoing support through block bookings, and small group sessions, with regular feedback and progress updates for longer-term students.
