I’m David Read, a fully qualified and experienced Maths Teacher who now works full-time as a professional tutor specialising in A-Level Maths and Further Maths. With over 15 years of experience teaching at some of Nottingham’s top schools—including Redhill Academy, Carlton-le-Willows, Arnold Hill Academy, South Notts Academy, and Trinity School—I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to help students excel in their exams. My approach focuses on building a strong foundation in mathematical concepts while encouraging independent learning, so students feel confident tackling even the toughest problems. Whether you’re preparing for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, or OCR-MEI specifications, I tailor my lessons to meet your needs, covering everything from Mechanics and Statistics to the optional content in Further Maths. I work with students one-to-one, either in my air-conditioned classroom at my family home in Gedling or online, using state-of-the-art tools to make learning engaging and effective.
