I’m Eilidh McKell, a passionate music and art tutor based in the heart of Ryedale, North Yorkshire. With over 15 years of musical experience, I specialise in helping students of all ages—from complete beginners to those preparing for ABRSM Grade 6 exams—develop their skills and confidence. Whether you're learning for leisure, working towards a crucial exam, or refining your technique, I tailor lessons to your goals, focusing on reading music, performance skills, scales, and music theory. My teaching approach is personal and adaptable, ensuring each student progresses at their own pace while exploring their creative potential. Beyond music, I offer one-to-one art tutoring, supporting students with school assignments, portfolios, and creative projects across various mediums. My background includes ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano and Flute (Merit, 2017), Grade 5 Music Theory (Distinction, 2013), and training at Sheffield Music School. I’ve performed in school orchestras and musicals, attended masterclasses with renowned musicians, and currently work as a Music and Art Graduate Assistant at Ampleforth College, where I teach KS3 music, piano, and organise recitals. Based in Ryedale, I bring a wealth of experience and a genuine enthusiasm for the arts to every lesson.
