Kiran Arora

I’m Kiran Arora, a qualified and experienced Maths tutor based in Cippenham, Slough. With over seven years of teaching and tutoring experience, I specialise in helping students excel in Maths from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level. My approach is calm, supportive and tailored to each student’s needs, whether they’re struggling with foundational concepts or aiming for top grades. I currently work as a Lecturer in A-Level and GCSE Mathematics at a local college, having previously held leadership roles including Assistant Director of Maths at Burnham Grammar School. My background also includes positions as Numeracy Coordinator and Key Stage 3 Coordinator in schools across Buckinghamshire and Slough. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Reading and an Honours degree in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Nottingham. I’m also studying for a Masters in Mathematics Education at UCL, which keeps me at the forefront of teaching methods. Tuition takes place in my home in Cippenham, where I create a focused and friendly environment. Both my wife and I are fully DBS checked, ensuring peace of mind for parents. I’ve helped hundreds of students achieve their potential, with many securing 100% A*-C grades at GCSE. My lessons are structured to build confidence, improve exam technique and make Maths enjoyable. Whether your child needs help with algebra, geometry or exam preparation, I’ll work with them to develop the skills and mindset needed for success. Small group sessions are available too, capped at five students to maintain personal attention. My rates are affordable at £30 per hour and a half, reflecting my commitment to making high-quality tuition accessible.
