What's the fee structure?
TutorLab is £29/month flat (or £24 effective on yearly billing) — no per-invoice fee. You pay Stripe's standard card processing fees only (≈1.5% for UK cards, more for international).
Is VAT supported?
Yes. If you're VAT-registered, toggle VAT on your profile and invoices apply VAT at the standard 20%. Most tutors aren't registered and leave it off.
Do I need a separate Stripe account?
Yes — you connect your own Stripe account to TutorLab. Payouts go direct to your bank. TutorLab never holds your money.
Can I still send invoices as PDFs if parents don't want the Stripe link?
Yes. Every invoice can be downloaded or emailed as a PDF, and you can record external payments manually.
